Joint Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) General Service Respirator
The Joint Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear General Service Respirator will replace the Canadian Armed Forces' C4 respirator and C7A filter with an improved system.
The Joint CBRN GSR project will procure CBRN respirators systems. The equipment will include the respirator system, spare parts, test equipment, training, documentation and accessories as required. The new system will provide better protection against a wider range of CBRN agents and toxic industrial materials, while also reducing the physiological and psychological burden on the user.
