Objective

The objective of this project is to acquire CF-18 Operational Flight Programs, as necessary, to integrate operational requirements identified under CF-18 Modernization. This project also upgraded/replaced the capabilities of the software development facilities at the CF-18 System Engineering Support Contractor Mirabel facility so that CAF will retain the current capability to modify CF-18 software.

Requirements

The project will provide the CF-18 with the software integration of all the new mission systems integrated into the aircraft under the CF-18 Incremental Modernization Project.

A contract of approximately $65 million was awarded to L3 Communications MAS in 2005.
