Naval Improved Clothing and Equipment
Provide an improved holistic “skin-to-outer” clothing and equipment ensemble for maritime personnel to support/conduct operations in all geographical and climatic conditions for domestic and international operations.
The project will provide to all naval personnel new clothing and equipment consisting of cold wet weather seaboots, hot weather seaboots, naval wind/raingear, naval t-shirt, temperate drawers, cold wet weather glove, temperate weather glove, sock system, ballistic eyewear, naval fragmentation protective vest and a fleece jacket.
Multiple contracts were awarded to fulfill the various requirements of this project with an approximate value of $55 million.
