The Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Sensor Integration and Decision Support Project (SI&DS)
The Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Sensor Integration and Decision Support Project will integrate Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear sensors into the secure communications networks of the Canadian Forces, and provide Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear situational awareness and decision support to commanders and staff at the tactical, operational and strategic levels for both expeditionary and domestic operations during all phases of the operation.
The SI&DS software will be integrated onto the existing Canadian Armed Forces operational and administrative/training networks: Consolidated Secret Network Infrastructure (National command and Defence Research and Development Canada); Land Command Support System (Land based operations/Air Force); Joint Staff Information System (Canadian Special Operations Force Command); SECLAN Consolidated Secret Network Infrastructure (Maritime based operations/Air Force); and Defence Wide Area Network.
