Objective
This project will improve the soldier's ability to operate in reduced visibility conditions with lower operator payload leveraging next generation technology.
Requirements
This project will address upcoming capability gaps in our current CAF Night Vision Equipment Fleet IOT ensure that our soldiers in combat maintain their advantage of being able to operate in night conditions. The project will deliver a new suite of dismounted night vision systems (NVS) to the Canadian Army (CA) and Royal Canadian Navy (RCN). This will enable our forces to operate at night. The project will deliver in sequences; Long Range Hand Held Thermal imager (HHTI) Laser Range Finder, Medium Range HHTI, Night Vision goggles, Laser aiming devices, Thermal fusion, Augmented reality.
