To our respected veterans, I offer my deepest gratitude in this small way. I believe it is because of people like you that our nation exists, and that I can live comfortably within it. The fact that you sacrificed your lives for the country and its citizens is truly admirable, and I believe we must emulate that courageous spirit. I cannot even begin to imagine how difficult it must be to walk that path silently, by your own will. Still, I am grateful and deeply respect you for stepping forward for others, for people you may never even know. I will never forget your sacrifices and will always remember them. And I will never forget the precious value of the good life I enjoy because of you.
Logan - 14/11/2025
Dear Sir/Ma’am,
Hello, my name is Logan and I am in grade 6. I go to a Christian school in Markham. Thank you for serving the army and risking your life to protect us from everyone who has tried to hurt us. Thank you for protecting 41,465,298 Canadians. Thank you for being brave to choose to join the army and for helping our country to be very peaceful. Thank you also for doing your job properly because if you didn’t do your job properly we would probably be taken over by other countries.
I am sorry if you lost any of your friends and I really hope you didn’t. Please remember this bible verse for every time you are feeling a bit down, “ The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8 please also keep this bible verse if you are feeling sad, “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 Here is one last bible verse, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. "Proverbs 3:5-6
Thank you again for making Canada a peaceful place for many people.
Hailey - 14/11/2025
Dear Ma’am or Sir,
Hello veteran! My name is Hailey. I would like to thank you for what you and your troops did for our freedom and country. I really appreciate what you guys really did. Merci! I am very sorry for all the people who died and loved in your group. Here is a Bible verse that I think might comfort the lost people you love. Here is the bible verse that is for people who have lost anybody who is close to them, Psalms 46:1:“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. This bible explains that God is the refuge and strength that will help us in times of trouble.” Ephesians 6:11-13: Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. This verse means to stand for eternity. It means that we are ready for battle with God so that we don’t stand alone. While we are talking about strength, did you stick with God’s strength and guidance to help you guide through your battle? God’s guidance is important to help guide you because then you and your team aren't fighting alone, but instead you are fighting with grace and God’s glory and strength. This will be easier because it will help you win the battle, but also will help you to be closer to God.

Jessica - 13/11/2025
Dear troops,
Hi! My name is Jessica and I go to a school in Markham, Ontario. I am really thankful for your help to our country. I hope you are staying strong
Deuteronomy 31:6: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” This verse means to be brave and don’t give up no matter what happens because God will be beside you all the time, helping you along the way. Another verse that means to be brave and that God is always by your side is, Joshua 1:9: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you are.
I am really sorry for those who you lost. I am sorry that you have to be away from your family and friends. I hope that you are safe right now and that you know that God is with you. John 15:13: Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. This verse means the ultimate sacrifice made by many veterans in service to their country and fellow citizens.
Be strong and courageous in the war. Even though I might not experience what you are but i know that you are very brave to do something like this.
Kailey - 13/11/2025
Hi sir, my name is Kailey, and I am a grade 6 student from a school in Markham, ON. I am really grateful that you devoted your lives to serve in the war. Without you, Canada would not be free, and I would not be alive. Your sacrifice means lots to me. I will never know how it was at the war, but I know that it could have been full of pain and sorrow, so I admire your courage, and strength.
I know you had to stay away from your family, and that breaks my heart, because family is everything to me. I may not be brave because I can’t stand to be away from my family, but you are one of the most brave people that I know. I hope you are safe right now, and I hope you know that Jesus Christ is with you.
“‘“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
I hope this message will bring you peace, and warm your heart. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27 Thank you for reading my message. Bye! -Kailey
