Dear Veterans, In this grateful nation, I want to thank each and every one of you who served in the wars that made this country better. Whether you fought in trenches of World War I, battlefields of World War II, or conflicts that followed, your courage and sacrifice, with steady dedication that had left a permanent mark on Canada and the world. Your service represents the highest perfection of duty, honor, and love for the country. You stood for the country knowing that your actions would help find peace and freedom for generations. You risked everything like your safety, health, and your life so that others might live in peace. You did not just fight for your own families, but for many others too. As Canadians, we are proud of the legacy you have raised. The sacrifices you made helped others to enjoy their life with freedom. Now future generations of Canadians can live in a country that has peace and human rights. Our emotions fully express our gratitude, please know that your service will never be forgotten. We honor you today, and we will continue to honor you. You are an important part of our history, and your courage continues to inspire us. To all of the veterans who have returned home, and those who did not, we thank you for everything you have done. Your sacrifices will always be remembered, and your commitment to Canada never taken for granted. With deepest respect and gratitude to all Veterans.
