Happy holidays! We have just about 26 days until Christmas eve.My favourite part about Christmas is going to church on Christmas eve when they tell us to pray for someone you are thankful for.I am thankful for you and all the work and efort you put in to helping others who couldn't be more thankful for the saftey that you provide.The Christmas seoson is a time to show others how mutch you care so i hope that this note tells you how much i apreteate you and everyone else that works in the military.I hope you have an amazing Christmas and a great new year!!! Letter to unknown soldier
Dear Canadian soldiers,
I wanted to take a minute to write to you all to show my appreciation and to thank you deeply for your service. First off, I’d like to introduce myself, my name is Abi, and I am a seventeen-year-old student attending a high school in the province of New Brunswick. I am situated in an urban setting, and I think I would enjoy a more rural setting honestly, it can just get so loud and traffic gets bad. I enjoy living in this country and seeing the beauty it has to offer, I have traveled to several other provinces outside mine like Ontario, but I would have to say I love Halifax, Nova Scotia the most.
Even as a child I knew that to be a soldier it required huge amounts of resilience and sacrifice. I get to make future goals and my son gets grow up in our beautiful country all because of you. I appreciate you risking your lives for my freedom and all other people living in Canada, you truly resemble bravery, liberation, and freedom.
To all the Canadian troops, thank you for everything. It's very easy to take your work for granted and to forget how much you sacrificed to help us live a safe and free life in this country. You've shown us bravery and courage that we can all look up to, and it reminds us how you risked your lives to save ours. We know how hard it was for you to fight for our country, and for that we thank you.

I hope this message finds you well! I’m a daughter of a military veteran, he served over 41 years and I was so proud of him every step of the way that I was there for. I have no clue where I would be today without him, I’m now 35 years old. I’m sure there were many times he would say how hard I was to handle or I said “ I didn’t like him or he was mean” but everyday in my adult life I tell everyone how proud Iam of him and how proud I am to be his daughter. I honestly wouldn’t be the person I am today without him in my life. He stepped up and loved when he didn’t have to, he chose too.
