Today is Remembrance Day (2024). Our school shared a memorable assembly to honour those who have served their country either in the past or currently. We are thinking today of others that represent our country, not necessarily during war, but also in peacekeeping, talks, discussions, and treaties. We all are trying our best to wear the poppy and understand what wearing it means. Sending well wishes today and always.

Dear Veteran, I hope you are doing well. I am thankfull for things you have done to protect our loved ones. Thank you for being the people who fought for our freedom in war. The war affected people of all ages. Many people lost close family members and friends. That proves all of you are so brave. I sincerely want to thank you for what you have done that you put your life at risk and fought for your loved ones. I know how it feels to lose a loved one in the war. I lost my grandpa in the war the hard thing is that I share the same birthday as him so I always remember how fought for his country. Merci pour cobat das la monde.

Dear Veteran, thank you for fighting for our country. You sacrificed your life for our country and that probably means you're very brave. You could have died but you still went to war. You veterans gave your all so that we could have world peace.
