We remember the soldiers and veterans that sacrificed their lives for our country and people. If we didn't have them then it wouldn't be safe for us to walk outside or go to the park. Then we have the poppy. The poppy to me means the soldiers who sacrificed their selves for the safety of our environment. After the war, one of the soldiers was walking in the field and noticed poppies growing. As he sat on the ground he wrote a song called Flanders Field. This is why we celebrate Remembrance Day. Remembrance Day is celebrated to remember the soldiers that made it home and how didn't. So that is why it is important to remember .
