Dear Veteran/Soldier, I am 12 years old and live in Canmore, Alberta. I am very grateful to live in a free and amazing country, all because of people like you. Maybe you are still fighting in peacekeeping missions or fighting the aftermath of a war, either way please know that you are valued by all Canadians. It takes a simple decision to join the army, but it is a whole other thing to fight in a war. Only the bravest have the courage to do so and the smartest survive. Overall thank you for your amazing service to provide a safe and happy living experience for all of us Canadians and our allied forces. You are amazing.

Azariah - 10/11/2025
Dear Canadian soldier
My name is Azariah and I'm in grade six. I grew up in Canada, but my parents are from Hong Kong. On November the 11 we wear a poppy of remembrance, so we can know what you did to save our country, fight for us, risk your life, work hard, and protect us from a third world war . Wherever you are I hope you can read this message and feel proud of yourself because you are protecting us and our country.
I hope you can be safe and I hope you can feel like you are not alone as it says in my favourite verse in the bible, Genesis 28:15 I am with you and will watch you wherever you go. I hope this verse will enlighten your day and when you come back to Canada I hope you can start reading the bible, or pray to God. I will also pray for you and whatever I do I will remember this moment when I sent this message. Again thank you for protecting us against enemies even though you're risking your life, and today when you read this message,I hope you feel good about yourself.
Sincerely, Azariah

Dear Veterans,
This letter is to thank you for everything you did. Thank you so much for sacrificing your own safety for a bunch of strangers. You will not just be remembered by family, but also by strangers that care A LOT! Everybody here has pure respect for everyone who made it and didn’t make it. Before l start, introductions. I’m in Grade.6, and live in Markham! I am a Christian and l hope you are too.
Every day must be in suspense, never knowing when the enemy will attack.
I hope you know we pray for your safety every day! Thank you for keeping our land safe, and letting us have rights people in other countries might not have. If you didn’t make it, we still thank you and hope you are resting with God in Heaven. Here is a memory verse that inspires me: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18 Again, thank you for what you have done for us, and our country.
