Dear veteran, I hope that when you receive this message, no matter where you are, or how you are, I wish this letter to give you at least one thing, which is hope, I know that the life of a soldier, is hard and gruelling, both mentally and physically, whether you are in combat or back home. A soldier’s sacrifice for their country is respectable and honourable, and it is something that I will forever be thankful for. I hope that you know that it is okay to be scared or depressed, because these are human emotions, and it is completely normal to feel them. Thank you for your service :)
