My name is Jamie, I’m 27 years old. My grandfather was a gunner I don’t know much more than that because I never got to meet him and my father (my grandfather would be his dad) doesn’t like to talk about it either. But I just want you to know you’re never alone and I appreciate everything you’re doing for us as Canadians. I’ve been wanted to write anyone/someone from the military for awhile and I hope this isn’t a scam. But with the hope it isn’t, you’re not alone, there are people all over the world thinking about you without even knowing you. I don’t know who this letter will get too or if it’ll even help but I’d be honoured to talk to anyone just to get their mind off things. Can’t thank you enough for everything all of you do

Hellooo to all! This is my first message to the forces. I thought of reaching out to you all after this past weekend there were some cool fighter jets flying over my house. Wow what a sight! First time ever seeing these types of jets. I took a short video. This was a good reminder that you all are out there protecting and fighting for us Canadians. I don't know anyone in the military.
