Je m’appelle Aisha et je suis ici pour vous remercier. Dans des situations difficiles, vous avez défendu notre pays.Notre pays est un endroit sûr, grâce à votre aide. Merci pour votre courage et les sacrifices que vous faites pour la paix de notre pays et ses valeurs. Vous avez veillé à ce que notre pays soit sûr et sécurisé. Même si le temps a passé, nous n’oublierons jamais vos sacrifices. Vous êtes des vrais héros et votre héritage restera à jamais gravé dans les mémoires, avec honneur et gratitude. Dear Sir/Ma’am,
My name is Caleb and I am a grade 6 student in a Christian school in Markham, Ontario. I am writing this letter to you because I would like to thank you for your service to Canada as a soldier and as a Veteran. I am thankful that you risked your own precious life to protect Canada. I am sorry for all the friends you have lost on the battlefield and that you had to be sent away from your home and family. I am sure that your family and relatives would be proud of you for risking your life to protect our country. Without you and your sacrifice for our country, Canada, would not be as great and strong as it is now. Joshua 1:9 says ”Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go". This verse talks about bravery and courage and how God is with you wherever you are, Something that I don’t have because if I went to a battlefield, I would run away from the battlefield right away and hide. I am very thankful for your bravery and courage on the battlefield and that you risked your life to protect Canada. You are heroes to everyone in Canada because you fought for the freedom that this beautiful country deserves. I thank you for your time and effort that you put into this for us and for your sacrifice.

Merci beaucoup pour votre sacrifier vie pour défendre notre pays, nous sommes peut imaginer à quel point c'est difficile c'est quitter sa famille pour aller combattre à la guerre, nous sommes reconnaissants. Nous vous remercions aussi pour votre travail acharné et votre dévouement, s'entraîner dur pendant des mois. Je ne peux pas imaginer être dans cette situation, ça doit être difficile. Votre travail acharné a eu un impact sur nos vies. Merci pour votre service.

I want to thank the men and women that have given their time and lives for this country. Your courage and sacrifice have given us all the freedom and safety we have today. It's incredibly difficult to imagine how hard it must have been being out there fighting for the country, friends and family. Though in saying so i am internally grateful for the strength and bravery you have shown. I also want to recognize how much your service has inspired and impacted people, even those who did not live through the same times. Hearing your stories and experiences and learning about what veterans have gone through reminds us how important it is to appreciate what we have and to never take peace for granted. Your experiences and knowledge teach us courage, teamwork and hope for good. Because of you and others who have served we all get to live in peace and follow our dreams. Thank you for all you have done. We will remember.
