Thanks very much for serving in roles that help support the survival and flourishing of democracy in the world. I thought of you all quietly today. We are on our Eastward trek back home to Ontario from Vancouver Island, and I wondered how much of our country you've seen between training a deployment? I had an uncle stationed at CFB Esquimalt when he was in the Navy, and years later he took us there to see it. I just drove by it again on this trip, and remembered his stories fondly. He flew trackers off the HMCS Bonaventure, and SeaKings when they were new. He saw most of Canada this way, but always found his way home. Your family at home misses you. Good night hero, Jeannine xx
