Bless you for leaving your family to give a future generation freedom. You are the best, I believe you made a huge difference. With all my heart thank you.
Thank you doesn’t seem enough to express my gratitude for each and everyone of your services. Your bravery, dedication, and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed, and I am so thankful of your courage it took to defend our freedom. Life. Life represented an opportunity for everyone to explore the world, appreciate it, and engage in nearly every activity imaginable. In life, you might have had the opportunity to become wealthy, to be a celebrated figure adored by public admiration and affection. However, you decided to give up your life for the sake of others. You gave it up so we could be born in this place, enabling us to enjoy a joyful life. Your sacrifice exceeds anything anyone could conceive. Letting go of your home is significant. Abandoning your family is a significant action. Renouncing your faith is significant. However, sacrificing your life means everything. Today, we will gather to honor all the sacrifices you have made, enabling us to stand on this land and appreciate what it offers us. I personally shall take the time to appreciate all that you have done. Thank you
À tous les soldats courageux qui ont servi le Canada pendant les guerres, nous voulons dire un grand merci. Vous avez tout risqué en quittant votre famille, vos amis, et votre maison pour défendre la liberté et la paix. Aujourd’hui, nous nous souvenons des sacrifices que vous avez faits – les longues journées, la peur, la douleur, et la force que vous avez montrée. Grâce à vous, nous vivons dans un pays libre, où nous pouvons être en sécurité et espérer un avenir meilleur. Quand nous portons des coquelicots, que nous faisons une minute de silence, ou que nous écoutons les histoires de ceux qui ont vécu ces moments, nous vous honorons et nous nous souvenons de tout ce que vous avez donné. Vous nous avez montré ce que sont le courage et la loyauté, et le vrai sens du service. Nous pensons aussi à ceux qui ne sont jamais revenus chez eux, et nous nous souvenons de leur sacrifice. Leur souvenir reste dans nos cœurs et nous inspire à défendre la paix, comme vous l’avez fait. Nous sommes très reconnaissants pour votre service. Le Canada est fier de vous. On this Remembrance Day, we thank those who fought for our country and freedom and to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. It is because of the brave men and women, Canadians are able to live a life of peace and freedom. Lest we forget!
Thank you for helping to save our country and others, and some who never came back. I will never forget the many things you gave up to serve our country on earth, in the air and on the sea! I know you all gave up a lot to serve our country, "God bless you"! I had two brothers in England, Holland and Germany. Thankfully, both of them were able to come home without any injuries. Catherine

As a young person during WW2, I remember when the fighting ended and friends and neighbours came home. Many of these people did not talk about their time in the service of our great homeland. Thank you for your services!
