I would like to recognize you, the troops, for being such essential members of our society and for serving our country for 100s of years. The work you put into serving and protecting us while helping others ins't recognized enough here. The contributions made have helped this world become a freer and democratic place for billions of people around the world. I hope that wherever you are, those around you recognize this and treat you well during this upcoming holiday season. Take care wherever you are and continue to be amazing.
There are too many words and not enough space to express my thanks to the Canadian Armed Forces for their exceptional service to Canadians and the world. It takes a lot of kindness to be known as an army that helps those around the world, giving aid to the most vulnerable populations. This, alongside the actions of the army in Ukraine, will not be forgotten in the future. You are what all armies around the globe should aspire to be. I am so thankful for all the work that you do, and hope that you remember that Canada is cheering you on.
The Canadian Armed Forces mean so much to me, which I especially remember as Remembrance Day rolls around. Because of the hard work you guys have done for 100s of years, my family has been able to avoid being involved in World War Two. My great-grandfather almost served, but because of the efforts of our army, his boat to Europe never left the dock. His lineage continued on to the present, but that wasn't the case for many others. I spend these days remembering those who lost their lives and were unable to see the building and growth of the country they died for. You continue that battle today, and it is not forgotten.
The humanitarian and relief efforts presented by the Canadian Armed Forces are so inspiring. People often forget that the CAF doesn't just fight, but also helps those in need of aid around the world. I believe that the real heart of Canada is the help we give, which is only made possible by you guys. Please never forget the lives you have saved in countries around the world for 100s of years. I hope as a country, we continue to make much of our military's primary focus on the lives we save in the world. Your hearts are Canada's heart.
Thank you for continuing to serve our country during these turbulent times. You guys do so much important work for our country, and it sometimes goes unappreciated. We here in Canada aren't always affected by the conflict present in the world, and forget the people behind it.
