A Veteran (Postcards for Peace) To our current Canadian veterans who are serving our country, Thank you. Thank you all for everything you have done and are doing right now, I am somebody who has not paid a lot of attention to armed forces or military topics (topics that relate to the military are often brought up as an excuse to express discrimination like racism or homophobia in my experiences), this letter is an exceptional one to me. I pay a massive amount of respect to veterans who made such a decision despite all the consequences and negative aspects of being a veteran. I pay a massive amount of respect to veterans who got taken advantage of and are not being taken care of after the traumatizing events they had to go through, and I feel a special amount of sympathy for veterans who found out they are not serving for their country and are actually protecting billionaires and their money. I have remembered and honoured all and every single one of you, I contributed by wearing a poppy on top of my heart and I have decided to play in a band that is participating in a Remembrance Day event. Thank you all for everything. Sincerely, Dominic.

We appreciate your kind and caring service. The soldier's today and in the past have sacrificed their lives just to make a better world for us. We honor you soldier's on Remembrance day. You have also dedicated your lives for something beneficial. You are not the people who are selfish, mean and cruel. Thank you for everything you have done in this world.

Thank you for keeping canada safe. I know you have sacrifised a lot for this country and i wanted to show my appreciation. Because of your service i am able to grow up in a safe country and have many opportunitys that i might not have had without the sacrifises that you made. Dear Soldiers, I am so very grateful for every sacrifice you games have made. Thank you very much for risking your life for our safety. I truly believe you need more than 1 day to remember all the soldiers that sadly passed away. Each of you deserve more than the world. Thank you. I have a few questions to ask, Why did you decide to join the military, knowing you could possibly be injured? The 2nd question I have is, when you decided to join the military how did your parents, friends, and relatives take it? Last question, how have you changed after all these years working in the military?

Mikayla - 11/11/2022

Dear Canadian troops. I am currently writing this letter to thank you tremendously for your service. I appreciate what you have done in the past, and present, and what you will continue to do in the future. Your sacrifices and devotion to what you do, have truly created a difference in the country that you pledged to serve and protect. For that, I am proud to be honoring a military that will forever be in the hearts and minds of the citizens it protects. There are countless examples of your service to this country and the people globally, but for one, your devotion to the people of Canada during the Coronavirus pandemic was unwavering, when floods were happening in Nova Scotia, you were there, to pick up the pieces and put them back together. You will forever have my respect and admiration, and I wish you the best of luck in your career. -Mikayla

Dear Canadian Troops, On this day of recognition, I will take my time and honor you for the achievements and sacrifices that have been made for our country. You have sacrificed your time with family and friends, just to keep them and us safe. You frequently put your own life and safety on the line for Canadian citizens. You spend many years doing these services, and I am eternally grateful for that. Even during Coronavirus, you were helping. Helping old or ill people. You were out in the public while a global pandemic was happening, which not a lot of people would have done. I understand that a lot has happened in the last few years with Covid and Ukraine, and I’m saying that we all recognize you for your hard work and bravery. You’ve kept us safe and gave us freedom to choose and have our own rights. We can freely go to school and have a good education without fear of something bad happening. We have food and water, and we are grateful. Thank you so much for your service and your years to come. Sincerely, Jasmine

You people have given us many opportunities that we wouldn't have gotten if we lived in combat zones and overall danger. The fact that many other countries don't have education and overall freedom is very sad and I'm seriously grateful for the freedom you have provided us Canadians with. Thank you all dearly, Ollie
