Thank you for your service & for your contribution in facilitating the safety that allows Canadians from all parts of the globe to enjoy & practice their traditions & values in safety with their loved ones this year & every year. Truly you do stand on guard for the rest of us, & we love, respect, & appreciate you for it. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to you, your families, your colleagues, and your loved ones. I hope this finds you all healthy, strong of mind and light of spirit. I reside in Beautiful Nova Scotia and live a quiet life on a beautiful peninsula that feels like the edge of the earth. I know that our serene and happy life is partly in thanks to people like you. I have so much respect for the lifestyle you have chosen and the sacrifices you make everyday that allow us to live the way we do.
My heart goes out to you that you aren’t able to be with your family through the holidays but I am certain you will find a certain happiness and comfort with your fellow soldiers.
All the best to you through the holidays and may the universe watch over you in the times to come.

Our son just returned from a six month deployment and we are so happy to have him home for Christmas together. He missed some important events ( grandmother’s 100th birthday) and I thought of all of you at work keeping us safe and secure. God bless you all. Stay safe.

I know that you are not at home with your loved ones at this time. I'm sure that they are holding you in their thoughts and hearts very tightly, and talking about you with pride and with love. For now, during your deployment, I wish for you the camaraderie of your team, and security in the knowledge that the nation you represent honours you. Stay alert and safe.
