Thank you for your service. Because of you and the many other brave people that fought in the war, everyone has the freedom to live in peace. You made the ultimate sacrifice and for that, I am truly grateful. I am honoured to call myself a Canadian and hope life after the war is treating you well :)

There is grief to be expressed but a greater gratitude to be shared. Efforts are heroic, effects horrifying but still a relief. You've fought and sacrificed. And I'd like to cherish you. I truley hope you all are having a fantastic day. Please keep having them!

Nora - 22/11/2022

Dear Solider, Hi I’m Nora I’m in grade 8 and I just want to say thank you. And when I say that I mean thank you for your hard work, thank you for your bravery, thank you for all the work you've done to keep us safe. It really means a lot to all of Canada for what you do. I myself would love to join the military and help keep people safe but I already am a competitive swimmer and everyone around me knows I’m going places so if I don’t make it to the olympics I might consider doing this if I can’t complete this and win for my country it would be nice to know at least I’m fighting for it. I hope your doing good and staying strong but thank you again for all that you do, have an amazing day. -Nora grade 8

Braydence - 22/11/2022

Dear, Canadian Armed Forces Thank you for being very brave and doing a very good job protecting our country. You are being thought of very much by many people across Canada including me. And thank you for all of your work that you do outside of this country trying to make the world a better place. Thank you for standing tall for our country and if war were to come you would be there for us and protect us.

brogan - 22/11/2022

Hawa - 22/11/2022

For the troops/soldiers of Canada, if it weren't for you this country would never be the same because of your bravery Canada is the way it is known because of you. Growing up I always heard stories about the war back then. I knew I could never have the heart to be in war and now I still don't think I could. I thought once I get older I'll be more brave but I'll never be as brave as you were on the battlefield. Your bravery will always mean something to me. I'll forever be so thankful. You've probably have gotten multiple letters like this but i'm pretty sure everytime the person writing to you means every single word they write. Respectfully Hawa

Marjorie - 22/11/2022

Dear Soldier, I appreciate your choice of protecting our land and country. For going through hard times just so that we can keep on living a normal life. I wish that you will come home safe and sound, and that you’re greeted with lots of love and care. I’ve always looked up to people who are working in the military. I respect the fact that you’re willing to put your life on the line so that your country can be safe. Thank you so much for your service, continue to strive, and never give up. Sincerely, Marjorie

Wyatt - 22/11/2022

Dear Canadian military. Each day someone dies and you go to fight in a war. despite all you go through, fights, sacrifice and fear, you still smile at the end of the day. You get hurt and you get back up. I like many others would presumably agree to say you are the sword and shield of Canada and more. You are our protectors and you shouldn't be unnoticed. This may just be words but what it means is recognition of your selflessness. We all say "thank you" to you, our saviors. We are forever thankful for your sacrifice for our freedom. We all care.

Nabiha - 22/11/2022

I just want you to know that I'm thankful for all the soldiers who have died for us, to save our country. I could never imagine what hardship you're going through fighting with all your heart. I could never have the courage to become a soldier. It's too scary. Well Thank you For all your hard work I really admire you so much. Respectfully from Nabiha

I don’t know much about military or work like this but i still highly appreciate and respect everything you do for this country. Thank you for risking your life for your country and province and for helping to build Canada to the way it is today.

Ahmad - 22/11/2022

Thank you for your service. In my opinion, the army is a really interesting thing to do because you're serving your countries and you are doing good stuff for other people. I think that everybody in the army deserves to be respected because they are saving lives by risking their own lives for us. The army is a really hard job and I know because my dad used to be in the army and told me everything about his experience. - Respectfully from Ahmad
