Letter to Veterans. Dear veterans, Thank you for your for serving for our country and risking your life so we can have a functioning society and a better future. This country would not be the same without you. We thank you because us being here you keep our safety in tact. I empathize with people who lose family in wars and people who fight those wars. If you disappeared our country would be unstable you keep not just our country but North America/Turtle Island would be unstable. It would be absolute chaos you are hero’s so many people have and want to grow up to be soldiers because of you. You are a true inspiration to people all around the world you help everyone in this country you put yourself in danger and I cant imagine not seeing my family for so long. I have massive appreciation for what you do and all the sacrifice that you make. For our society thank you so much I could never have your dedication that you have possessed over the years. A grateful grade 5 student,

Kalea - 09/11/2023

Letter to veterans Dear Veterans, soldiers, heroes, CAF, Canada is in peace thanks to you! Us Canadians are very thankful to have you in our country! If you didn't exist we would not be safe from danger. Your risks and sacrifices mean a lot to us Canadians! We really appreciate your hard work and the strength you put in rescuing people in Canada. I was in Dubai and I moved to Canada. I'm very surprised by the sacrifices people made in the past to make Canada a better country! I wish for world peace because people in war are suffering and families are dying. We thank you for your bravery. It must be hard sacrificing Christmas time with friends and family. Time is precious. I empathize how it feels to be a soldier / peacemaker / CAF / hero. Please remember that us Canadians will really appreciate your hard work and we are happy to hear that you are ready for anything. Thank you for keeping Canada free. I hope you find this letter inspiring. I wish you a good year. Kind regards, a thankful grade 5 student.

To whom it may concern, Words cannot put into perspective how grateful I am for your military service. As a Ukrainian, I am knowledgeable when it comes to the horrors of warfare, as well as the detrimental effects that it has on our world. It rips apart families and destroys hundreds of thousands of lives. The lives of children, teenagers, adults, seniors... Lives are treated as nothing more than mere numbers. It makes me lose my faith in humanity. But then, there's people like you. Kind souls who dedicate their lives to protecting others. The fact that you place your life at stake, purely out of the kindness of your heart, is beyond inspiring. And I am so thankful for your bravery and selflessness. It is because of you and your beautiful heart that I can live my life in peace, focusing on my education and working on myself. You have people from all around the world actively supporting and celebrating you, so keep up the great work. The outstanding work. I will celebrate Remembrance Day with great pride and always honour your service in my heart.

Justice - 09/11/2023

Dear Canadian Soldier, I was wondering if you survived the war and, you are now living a normal and, happy life. I was wondering why different countries declared war in the first place and, you had to risk your life to fight for our country. I was wondering what weapons you used to fight in the war that you used to defend yourselves with and battle with. I was wondering how the war was like. Was it painful? Was it hard? Or was it something even worse? I am wondering if there will be another world war and, if you are going to fight in it to help The other countries. From: Justice
