DearCanadian Veterans, Was it scary fighting in the war ?What did it look like in the world ?How much stuff did you have to carry? How many times did you fight in a day? Did you make any friends? Thank you for fighting for us.

Romielle - 13/11/2025

Dear Canadian Soldier, My name is Romielle {Pronounced ro-mi-el}, and I am a grade 5 student. At school we are learning about Remembrance Day, and now that I know about the sacrifices people have made for our country, I just want to say thank you for everything that you have done. I am VERY thankful for people who are willing to help others. In my life, I try to make peace with others by helping them when they are angry, and when people are fighting, I always try to help them to calm down and resolve the fight. I hope you remember that you will always be known for your hard work and dedication to our country. Wishing you a happy day, Romielle

Dear Veterans, Veterans, I am here to thank you for fighting for our freedom,to respect that I will tell you how I will respect you like wearing a poppy on remembrance day or like having two minutes of silence. I am a curious child and I have some questions :where did you fight? Why did you chose to be a veteran? What as your family's reaction when you chose to be in the military? What was your status in the army and what was your nickname? What was your families reaction when you got back from the war? What was the scariest thing in the war? I would like to thank you for fighting for our country.

Ryder :3 - 13/11/2025

Dear Canadian Veteran, I want to tell you that without you, our lives would never be the same and thank you for serving our country. I also thank you for our freedom. Some questions for you what was the scariest part of being in the war? What did your parents think about you going in the war?

Dear Veterans, Thank you for fighting for our country,I am grateful that I do not have to live in fear hoping that an enemy country will not harm me.To me peace means that there is no physical harm to each country.Watching each day go by with peace and freedom,no guns and violence that go too far.I hope you and your family live in a loving home taking your minds off of the horrible things you went through. I have so many questions, what was the food like? What was your family's reaction when you decided to join the C.A.F? What was your reaction? I hope you find peace.
