Dear Veterans and members of the CAF,
My name is Ziya, I am in sixth grade and I go to school in Markham, Ontario. I am writing this letter to you to show how much gratitude and thanks I feel for protecting our country and having Canada be this great, strong, free country we have right now.
Thank you for serving our country. We appreciate all the time and sacrifices you made for our country. I am thankful for everyone who served and/or serves in the CAF and I hope this message finds you warmth and gratefulness. Thank you for doing your part in the military and being brave to battle in the war.
I am sorry for all the friends and/or loved ones you have lost. I never experienced the pain and sadness you have felt but I hope that you have recovered from that and live a happy life with God watching over you and protecting you. I am sorry for all the pain you felt and I pray that you are better and your loved ones are safe with God. I am sorry you had to leave all your family and friends at home however I hope you have reunited with them.
On remembrance day and everyday we still appreciate what you have done for our country and we are always remember that canada is here because of you,
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Dear Veteran,
I just want to thank you for all that you have done for this country. You took the risk, took the chance to help protect Canada. Because of you, we now have the hope you have given us. On Remembrance Day, you get the thanks and acknowledgement you deserve. You are greatly respected by everyone around you. People admire your resilient and hopeful heart you poured out in battle.
Do not think all of your suffering and sacrifice is something that burdens your mind. Think of it as a badge of honor only given to people who are worthy, that risk their lives for their country, the people who are willing to suffer and sacrifice for something they believe in. Your suffering is a blessing, not a curse. Your sacrifice is the reason for hope, not the other way around. Many, many people cannot even stand any suffering and sacrifices, but because you endured all of that for us, you are truly remarkable. Our whole country thanks you.
Veterans like you are so important to Canada. Without you, Canada would not be a peaceful country, and we wouldn’t have been called a country at all. You brought us freedom, and that freedom is something we could never attain without you, not even if we tried the hardest we could. We wouldn’t have been alive without you. I wouldn’t have been alive without you. My mom and dad came to Canada, and that’s where they met. So, If they didn’t come here because of war, I wouldn’t have been born. So, I greatly respect Veterans. Thank you for reading.

Nos Gardiens de la Paix
Les soldats marchent dans les passage silencieux
Leur pas calme la peur de notre nation
Leur courage est comme une lumière dans leurs mission
La paix grandit autour d'eux.
Dans le froid de la nuit, des voix déspérées les appellaient
Ils avancent doucement à cent pour cent, assurant la liberté
Chaque jour est une bataille née pour la paix.
La liberté les regarde le soir ici
Elle souffle doucement et remercie
Un enfant avec un drapeau pour tout dit: « Merci! »
Chaque pas est un geste de bravoure
Pour cette bravoure, nous vous remercions

Thank you for all you have done. I don't think there is anything that I can do to thank you enough.It must be hard staying away from your Family, I can’t imagine being without my family for a day.I am not from Canada but I am fluent with my accent. And just so you know, you should visit Canada's Wonderland. It's very fun and I hope this war will be over someday.If you ever feel blue just remember this message and remember how we all thank you.

Hello sir/ma’am,
My name is Joshua from Markham, Ontario. I’m very pleased to know that a very brave soldier, who has fought in the war, is reading this very letter, so please read on.
The fact that you fought in the war makes you one of the special people I believe in to be a brave and thoughtful person. I hope you remember this verse as it is a special verse just meant to help you through hard times. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" Joshua 1:9. The reason this verse is special to me is because it reminds me what I have to do every day to strive through everything. If you have any losses, I’m very sorry. Hopefully this letter and verse will comfort and help you. Thank you for devoting your life to the military because you’re the reason Canada is a free country and that Canada is a democratical country. The Canadian people all appreciate the service and the time you took to help our country, even if there were consequences, and loss of friends, and worries from families. You strived through and you helped the entire country with your service.
I hope you appreciated my letter and I hope this’ll help you with all the things you have gone through and the things that you are going through.

Les braves du Nord
Sous la neige dort le mémoire des hommes,
Le vent du nord chante, fier et éternel.
Les champs d'érables se souviennent encore,
Des vies perdues, des âmes qui s'endorment.
Tiens-là mon frère, crie le caporal au front,
Et la terre vibrante sous l'écho des canons.
Le courage, le froids et la peur,
Tout se mêlait dans les coeurs du soldat.
Ils avaient, pareil à des rocher contre la mer,
Leurs ombre longue s'étiraient sous le poussière.
Une flamme rouge brûlait sur leurs drapeaux,

Thank you for saving Canada. My name is Aiden and I love the airforce and airplanes. I hope to work in the air force as a cargo pilot but I don't want to go to war. I don't mind if I work i a passenger plane or military plane or cargo plane, but I want to fly a plane. Could you tell me, which plane is better to fly with?
