Dear Canadian Forces Members, Before I get started, I made this letter because everyone appreciates all of the soldiers in the military for freedom and showing all of us that we can be brave and become heroes. My name is Evan, I'm 10 years old and I'm in grade 5. Now, I will tell you some of my hobbies, some hobbies I love doing are playing video games and my VR like roblox, minecraft and a really fun VR game called GRAB. Another hobby I love doing a lot is petting my 3 cats named Xena, Cali and Leo. My favorite types of food are pizza, ice cream, popcorn and popcorn chicken. We all thank you for your bravery, even knowing you were risking all your lives. We all thank you for helping everyone and showing that people can be really brave. Dear Soldier, Hi, my name is Graham and I am writing you this letter because I am thankful for you keeping our country safe. Before I write how thankful I am of your service, I would like to tell you a bit about myself. Some of my favourite activities are playing video games, watching shows and movies, talking to my buddies, and also reading! My favourite book/series is currently One Piece, I won’t dive too deep into the details but it is a book about a boy around 17 years old wanting to become the king of pirates. The day that I am writing this, Friday November 7, 2025, I have a sleepover with my friend, who is also currently writing to a veteran. And now I will write/type about the important stuff, which is how thankful I am for your service. I am thankful for your service because if you hadn’t protected our country, there's a chance I wouldn’t be here today to write you this letter. To all of your comrades that may have died in the war, may they rest in peace. My great grandfather who died before I was born was also in the military. I enjoy them because they keep me busy, especially Badminton and Soccer. I enjoy these sports because they're really competitive. I love biking with my close friends and exploring all around my neighbourhood. We appreciate you risking your lives to protect us and let us have a normal happy life. Soldiers have to go through extreme training to go on the battlefield, some soldiers are forced to go to the military and risk their lives. Your stories changed lots of people to stay positive. Dear Canadian Forces Member, This is a letter of appreciation for your bravery and courage for being a part of our country's military. My name is Sam, and some of my hobbies are to watch planes land at the airport and play hockey. I live in Toronto and play rep hockey for the Applewood Coyotes in the GTHL (Greater Toronto Hockey League). My favorite kind of plane is the F22 because the design is very sleek and modern.
