Hello CAF, thank you for your service. You guys are so brave to risk your life just to fight for our country and to make our country safe. Thank you.
thank you for giving us freedom and peace in are country.
I am a Grade 4 student writing from St. Stephen Catholic School in Ottawa. Thank you for all you have done for Canada. I am grateful you gave up your time with your family to help others. The family is probably very proud. Thank you for being brave and protecting our country. I honour veterans by wearing a poppy and standing for a moment of silence. It makes me feel sad that you don’t get to see your family as much, but I want to show my respect. My favorite thing about Canada is that there are beautiful places you can go to. Canada is so beautiful, and I know it’s safe because of people like you who protect it. I just wanted to say that I hope you have a great rest in peace and have a very restful day. From a Grade 4 Student
Dear Veteran, I am a Grade 4 student writing from St. Stephen’s and I would like to say thank you for protecting Canada and keeping us safe. I wear a poppy and stand in silence on Remembrance Day because I feel respectful of everything you have done. I like living in Canada because Canada doesn’t fight people—we compromise. I know this is possible because of people like you who worked to keep us safe. Thank you again for everything you have done for our country. We will never forget. From Zoe.

I am a grade 4 student from Stittsville. I want to say thank you for keeping Canada safe. I am thankful for all the bravery you showed. I am grateful for the time you spent away from your family to keep Canada safe. At my school, we wear a poppy and are quiet for two minutes to respect all the bravery and courage you showed. Thank you all for your service, and our freedom
Thank you for your hard work and for our freedom thank you for your service.
Dear veterans, Hello, I am a grade 4 student in Stittsville, and I want to thank you for protecting our future in Canada. Thank you for keeping Canada safe so kids like me can grow up happy. I really appreciate that you spent time away from your family to help people learn and grow. During the moment of silence, I feel a little sad because I think about the sacrifices veterans made. Wearing a poppy reminds me of the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ and helps me remember. I love the people in Canada because they are kind and caring. I know that veterans like you helped make Canada such a safe and friendly place. Thank you again for everything you have done for our country. We will never forget. From Isaiah
Thank you so much for risking your lives to let us have freedom
I am a grade 4 student from St. Stephen Catholic School. I'm writing to thank you for your service to Canada. Thank you for your bravery to serve all Canadians. You gave up so much for Canadians, and we want to thank you for your dedication and service. On Remembrance Day, we take at least 2 minutes to stop, stay silent, and remember the soldiers who fought and died in the war. During those 2 minutes, we think about all the soldiers and what they gave up. It's not for us to feel sad but just to remember. Now, because of you, I can have fun at parks that used to be battlefields. I can walk on sidewalks that used to be veteran paths. We will always remember your sacrifices. - Alex
Dear Soldiers, I am a grade 4 student from Stittsville and I wanted to say thank you for all the things you did to give us freedom. I am thankful that you left your family and you were brave to go to a war to give us freedom. We wear poppies on Remembrance Day to remember all of your hard work and for the people who passed away from battles. I wear poppies since every time I see them, I will think about all of the soldiers’ hard work they did to get freedom for our country. I love living in Canada because I feel safe around everyone and I always have fun with my family and friends. I know our country would not be the same without your courage and service. We will never forget your bravery and everything you have done. From Justin
Dear veteran, I am a Grade 4 student from St. Stephen Catholic School in Stittsville, Ontario. I would like to say thank you for keeping Canada safe. I am thankful when you fight for Canada and save a lot of people. I also thank you for when you fight for Canada and might die or get hurt. Every Remembrance Day, I draw a poppy, or my sister makes a little book out of paper. Me and my family always get some poppies, and me and my brother are in the kids’ Royal Navy. I am learning how to march, too. Thank you for saving our country. From, Selina Grade 4 Student

You have to say bye to your friends and family and not see them during a long time. I think it's can make you feel sad but happy in the same time. Because i cannot imagine myself saying goodbye to my famaily without knowing if i will see them again, i'm very proud of your courage.

Dear Veteran, I am a grade 4 student at St. Stephen’s Catholic School, and I would like to say thank you for protecting Canada and saving us all! We all owe you this thanks for saving us all, and even though you had to leave your families, you still chose to save us all and that makes me grateful. To all those who have died, I'm grateful for all you've done for us. You tried your best, you made a big difference. Every year, me and my family get together on Remembrance Day and we would buy a bunch of poppies. Then we have a big dinner, and we are so grateful for my grandpa because he was a soldier and he survived. So every year we have a big dinner to remember. I just can't believe some of you gave your lives. So I'm very grateful and thankful that I'm still standing and breathing on this planet because of you. I am so grateful and thankful that I'm breathing on this planet right now and I just can't believe some of you risked your lives for us and the sacrifice you made for us and everything. So we owe you a huge thank you. Thank you again for your courage and sacrifice. We will never forget what you’ve done for us. From a Grade 4 Student, St. Stephen’s Catholic School Sincerely, Sofia.
