I hope you’re aware of how much bravery, strength and courage one has to have in order to continue on in such hard times. Because of you we have peace within our country and I am so forever thankful. Dear, Veteran I’d like to thank you for your service and sacrifice in the war. It’s extraordinary how you fought so hard for our freedom. Remembrance Day is so much more than just a day off school, it’s a day to respect and remember soldiers, navy, and the many others who contributed to the war. I hope no one ever forgets what veterans have done for our country. Sometimes the slideshows or videos at school about veterans and war almost make me cry, meanwhile for some kids it's just a part of the day to get through before they can go home. This makes me want to throw something. It’s like they don’t understand. I bet if they had to fight in a war, they'd have a lot more respect for remembrance day and how special veterans really are. Hi, I'm Atticus I live in BC am 13 and go to Chief Dan Gorge middle school and I like to play video games, and I try to be as kind as posable. This is a thanks to all the hard work you have been putting into protecting Canada and helping protect other countries too. It must be scary going to such dangerous places yet rewarding when you can help others feel safe. It must also be hard to see how cruel the world is sometimes, but you make it so much better you bring safety to others and me. You show how kind people can be, and I thank you for that. Dear veteran, I am so thankful for how you have made our country safe and made it what it is today. I am also thankful for everything that you sacrificed for us to make everything better for the people of Canada. This remembrance day I will support veterans by going to a parade and taking a moment of silence for our fallen soldiers that sacrifice themselves so that everyone can live in a safe country. My family will also donate to a bunch of fundraisers and buy poppies to support veterans, and veterans families.
