Hello! You are such a strong person for dedicating your life to protecting Canada. If I was in your shoes, away from my friends and family, it would be extremely hard to keep going. This doesn't even begin to symbolize everything you go through. I admire your strength and determination. Whether you're feeling lonely or surrounded by loved ones, I hope your life is beautiful and filled with joy. That's something you are worthy of. I am always thinking of you and hoping for your safety. Stay strong and thank you for your service.

To those who serve Canada, With Remembrance Day upcoming, I wanted to thank you for your service to Canada. Your commitment to the protection and defence of the Canadian people is admirable, and I am thankful to live in a country where we have strong and brave service people. I will always appreciate the militaries' goal of protecting the defenceless through acts of valour while working towards a better world. As someone who had great-grandparents who fought in both World Wars, I especially appreciate the sacrifice you have made for the people of Canada. Their courage and bravery is an important part of my families identity, and I hope you know that all service members are in our hearts during this time. Wearing a poppy in November brings my mind to them, and to all service members, including you! All the best in the future, and thank you again for your dedication, courage, and bravery, Grace

Dear Canadian Armed Forces Member, As Remembrance Day approaches, I want to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for everything you do in service to our country. Your role—whether supporting communities at home, working with international partners abroad, or training tirelessly with your unit—demonstrates a level of dedication that Canadians deeply respect. The responsibility you carry, and the discipline required to meet it every day, are not taken for granted. Even though we may never meet, I want you to know that your efforts have a meaningful impact. The hours spent away from family, the constant readiness required of you, and the challenges you face in unpredictable environments all reflect a commitment that deserves recognition and gratitude. Your willingness to step forward when others cannot is something Canadians rely on more than you may realize. I also want to acknowledge the people who support you—your family, friends, and community. Their sacrifices, patience, and strength allow you to do your work, and Canadians appreciate them as well. On this Remembrance Day, I hope you feel the respect and appreciation of people across the country. Thank you for your service, your resilience, and your unwavering commitment to protecting and helping others. With gratitude, Maya Starrs

Megan - 06/11/2025

Dear armed forces, Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for Canada. Ever since I was a young girl, veterans have always held a special place in my heart. My great grandma served as a nurse and my mom would always retell the stories and sacrifices she made. Everyone in my family looked up to her with such pride and we were always so thankful for everything that she did for us and others. I look up to you with that same level of respect and appreciation. You make it possible for me to life in a safe country and just know there is never a day where your efforts aren’t making a lasting difference. Thank you again

Megan - 06/11/2025

To the members of the Department of National Defence, As the chilly air rolls in, I cannot help but think that remembrance day is approaching. It is a time of year that allows me and many others to reflect on all that troops have done and continue to do for us everyday. You are truly so inspirational and should take a second and commend yourself for all your tremendous efforts. You are so selfless and make so many sacrifices so that we have the opportunity to carry out our everyday lives in a safe environment. Thank you for everything and I hope you feel all the love and support from Canadians.

Grace - 06/11/2025

To those who serve Canada, With Remembrance Day upcoming, I wanted to thank you for your service of Canada. Your commitment to the protection and defence of the Canadian people is admirable, and I am thankful to live in a country where we have strong and brave service people. I will always appreciate the militaries' goal of protecting the defenceless through acts of valour while working towards a better world. I had the opportunity to visit Vimy Ridge a few years ago, and was taken aback by the sacrifice of all Canadians during World War I. Their dedicate towards preserving a free world was admirable, and I believe it has allowed today's service members to continue their actions, with your help! I wish you all the best in the future, and thank you again, Grace

Amy - 06/11/2025

Merci encore

Prophecy Christiansen - 06/11/2025

Dear solider, Thank you for your service. This remembrance day, and every day of the year, we appreciate your service, Without your bravery, our nation would not be the same. You are the reason why we feel safe each and every day, and we love you so much. There are not enough words or letters that we can write that would make up for the sacrifices and determination that you have for our beautiful nation. May the lord continue to protect you as you protect our nation. Thank you for keeping us safe.

Julia - 06/11/2025

I would love to hear all the stories you have about your time away. I hope you're able to enjoy your time overseas, and I hope it's somewhere warm. Your choice to protect our country truly means you can do anything. You are so strong, so powerful, and a true inspiration to everyone back home. I'm so thankful for everything you do. Thank you for keeping us all safe, and thank you for protecting your fellow soldiers and other members of the national defence. Thank you for bringing them home so we can hear the stories and reconnect with family and friends. Wearing a poppy makes me so proud to be a part of this wonderful nation, as it reminds me of the wonderful men and women who sacrifice themselves every day to keep me safe at home. I am cheering you on every step of the way if you ever feel scared. I am cheering you on from Edmonton, Alberta, and I hope you feel appreciated for your efforts every single day. I hope you can go back soon and spend lots of time with your family and friends. I hope one day to be as selfless as you are. Your courage is truly inspiring. Never forget how important, amazing and resilient you are.

Hello! I hope you are safe and happy. You are always loved and appreciated. I'm writing this with the hope to make you smile, so here's a joke: Whenever a solider goes to the bathroom, their rank changes to loo-tenant. Whether that made you smile or cringe, it's the thought that counts haha. I just wanted to do something different. Thank you for your service and stay safe!

Aksana Martirosyan - 06/11/2025

Dear solider, Thank you for keeping us safe every single day, and thank you for making us feel protected every night we go to sleep. Your bravery, hard work, long days, late nights, and determination does not go overlooked. Courage isn't a strong enough word to describe how you serve and fight for our nation. Whether your contributions be big or small, you are important. And without you, without YOU as an individual, our nation would not be the same. Canada is a safer place with you protecting it, and we appreciate you so much. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. God Bless you.

Aska. U - 06/11/2025

Dear Armed Forces, Thank you for your service! I’m not sure where you are and who you are and neither do you know those things about me, but what I do know is that I am so incredibly grateful for all that you do. After starting university last year, I know what it's like to be far away from home and family, just overall comfort, and let me tell you. It is not easy, I don't know how you do it! I experienced 1% of what you experience on a daily basis, with so much uncertainty and it has truly changed my perspective on things. Thank you for choosing to be far away from those you love so that I can be close to mine. I hope you know that your family loves and cares for you, and so do I! We see you, and nothing you do goes unnoticed.
