Dear Troops, thank you for all your sacrifices and everything you have done for our country. Through countless remembrance day ceremonies, guest speakers, and moments of silences, my appreciation for everything troops do has grown a lot. I find that it is crucial Canadians take a second and appreciate all that you have done on days other than remembrance day as well. So today I thank you for keeping our country safe.
Lia Martirosyan - 06/11/2025

Please know that your efforts are deeply appreciated and that Canadians across the country are proud and grateful for all that you do.
Wishing you safety, strength, and comfort wherever you are serving.
With gratitude,
Lia.

Before I continue, I pray that you are safe and well. I want to thank you for all your sacrifices to keep our beautiful country safe. Your services are the reason why children are able to safely go to school, the reason why parents wish to create families, and the reason why Canadian citizens are happy and well.
Most importantly, I hope that you are doing well, and that you realize how important your service is to our country. I hope this remembrance day you reflect on your fearless sacrifices, and know that we are grateful for everything you have done for Canada. Without our troops, we would have not been where we are today. Thank you.

Dear Soldier,
As we approach Remembrance Day, I am reflecting on all of the sacrifices that you have made for our country. I am so grateful for everything you have done to maintain peace and freedom. I can only imagine how challenging your days might be, but I hope you know that we care deeply about you and your work.
Thank you for all that you do and for all that you sacrifice.

I want to sincerely thank all of you for your hard work, commitment, and love for your nation. I trust it takes a lot to show up consistently, in the same way, for a long time; we appreciate your faithfulness, and your desire to serve people you will never meet. Although I don't personally know any armed force members, I support and admire you all from afar. This remembrance day, we will be thinking about and celebrating you, and all of the lives that came before you and ended up having to lay it down, but doing so willingly. Canada appreciates you!

When people ask what a good example of a Canadian is, I think of the CAF and their humanitarian services across the world. The work that you are doing in countries like Ukraine makes me proud to say I'm a Canadian. Many countries have turned their backs on them, but we're still supporting them. I think that it's amazing we're still helping them and giving support. I hope to see that continued in the future as well for more countries. Please continue to be known as the humanitarian military that you are.
A Canadian is someone who gives a helping hand, who shows kindness even in dark and uncertain times. If that's what a Canadian is, then you who are serving are true role models for the rest of the world to follow.

Thank you so much for your sacrifices, I can not even begin to fathom how difficult is must be to be away from your families and friends. I truly appreciate you efforts and the continuous choices you make to defend our country. I aspire to have the selflessness and drive that you must have. I can not even begin to imagine the courage it must have taken to make that decision to decide to defend our country. You bravery is the most inspiring thing, and because of your efforts I can feel peace in the country I love so much. There is no greater sacrifice then putting your nation ahead of yourself, and living every day for others. Without your efforts Canada would not be the country it is today, allowing everyone to thrive together in a peace country.

Thank you again for all that you have done. I admire you and I hope to be able to channel the same level of bravery you do one day. Thank you for keeping myself and my family safe.

You don’t know me, and I don’t know you, but I do know that I can wake up in the morning and not have to worry about unsafe skies, waters, or land. I know that at night when I go to bed, I can allow myself to drift away and dream in peace. All this is only possible because you are out there putting your lives on the line so that others do not have to.
Though I may never get to say it you in person, I do want to thank you for your service. Though these are simply words on a page, I hope they manage to touch your heart and make you feel loved and appreciated. I hope you feel uplifted and that your hearts are filled with courage. The courage to come to terms with what has happened in the past, the courage to live with what is happening at present, and the courage to surmount any challenges that may arise in the future. Thank you again for everything that you do.

We support you and your missions. The humanitarian work that you do for others across the world inspires me to continue to be involved in volunteering and helping in my community. Dear members of the Canadian Armed Forces, thank you for everything you have done to keep our country safe. As I sit surrounded by my friends and family in a safe and supportive environment, I cannot help but feel immense amounts of gratitude for everything you have done. The sacrifices you have made have allowed me to grow up and do little things I take for granted such as playing sports, going to the mall with my friends, or even studying subjects that I am passionate about. Thank you for everything.

People make difficult choices every day, but you make even more challenging ones every single moment. You are courageous and selfless, putting your lives on the line for the well-being of people you may never meet, and who may never know your name.
It takes a truly special kind of person and extraordinary dedication to choose this path. While it is not easy, please know that your service is deeply appreciated. Many lives are safer today because of your commitment. Words can never fully recompense the sacrifices, the pain, and the fears you endure, but you deserve to know that those you protect are proud of you, pray for your safe return, and honor the memory of those who are no longer with us.

My grandmother was a nurse in WWII. Every year I am reminded of her, of the sacrifice of past veterans, and the current men and women in uniform who show bravery and commitment serve this country. Canada is wonderful place and the freedom, culture, and values are worth fighting for.
Thank you for your service and God Bless.
