To those who serve Canada,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the brave and honourable service of the Canadian people in the armed forces. Your dedication towards protecting our country, its values, and its people is inspiring, and please know that I appreciate your sacrifice.
I am someone who loves to learn about history, and when visiting Vimy Ridge a few years ago, I was extremely taken aback by the sheer amount of emotion that swallows the monument. Being able to connect my learning to the real world made me further appreciate the sacrifice and valour of our service members.
I wish you all the best in the future, and thank you again for your service of our amazing country,
Grace

Dear Soldier,
Remembrance day is a day that we can appreciate and remember those who we have lost in battle and in the duty of serving our nation. There is not enough words nor letters than the entire nation as a whole could write to make up for the sacrifices and bravery that you commit every single day. Thank you for making our nation a safe place, and I am so sorry for the loss of any of your close companions in the army. You are among the most appreciated, loved, and respected of all of those in our nation. Not a day goes by that we shouldn't thank you. Your service, no matter how big or small, will not be unnoticed. Every action you take for our country helps to sustain the love and prosperous nation that we live in today. Thank you and God Bless you :)
Julia - 06/11/2025
You are a true hero. I hope that if you ever feel scared, just know that everyone back home is cheering you on, praying for you and truly values your strength and sacrifices. You represent what it means to be a true Canadian and I feel so proud when I wear a poppy, or am able to tell someone new that I am a Canadian. I envy your dedication, and hard work. You are the reason everyone back home can feel safe and live in harmony with one another. I hope you never have to question how truly appreciated you are. I hope you are somewhere warm, and near a beach and can enjoy the heat. It is starting to get very cold here in Alberta.

I'd like to express my deepest gratitude to every member of the Canadian Armed Forces both past and present. Your strength, bravery, and commitment are truly inspiring. My brother served in the military so I have a deep, personal appreciation for the sacrifices you make everyday. Each year, I enjoy attending Remembrance Day ceremonies to show my support for your dedication. The times you have all endured are not easy, and you continue to be the heroes of this country. By fighting for our freedom, you provide safety for all Canadian citizens. Thank you!
Taran - 06/11/2025
Hello, I would like to start off by thanking you for all your services. Your courage, commitment, and fearlessness is something I admire very deeply. The fact that you are away from home, separated from your families, and away from your friends just to keep Canada safe, is something you should be very proud of and hold highly. Your dedication to keeping Canada safe is the reason why us citizens are able to enjoy sunny summers, and the harsh Canadian winters. Hopefully, you don’t miss the cold too much :p !
Most importantly, I hope that you are doing well and that you realize how important your sacrifices are to our country. Without our troops, we would have not been able to call Canada strong and free. Thank you for everything.
Halen - 06/11/2025
Few jobs require as much faithfulness and bravery as armed forces. You wake up each morning tasked with the mission of keeping everyday Canadians safe, and you have done it so well! Thank you! Thank you for your strength, your resilience, your discipline. But more than that, I trust it takes an inordinate amount of hope to keep going, even when things get a bit dark. Thank you for holding on to that hope, and for spreading it through your actions, even if indirectly. Canada is forever indebted to the countless lives that have fallen in service, and those that continue to show up in uniform today. You protect our freedoms, so that we can live without fear. Canadians appreciate you!
Grace - 06/11/2025
To those who serve Canada,
With Remembrance Day upcoming, I wanted to thank you for your service of Canada. Your commitment to the protection and defence of the Canadian people is admirable, and I am thankful to live in a country where we have strong and brave service people. I will always appreciate the militaries' goal of protecting the defenceless through acts of valour while working towards a better world.
As someone who had great-grandparents who fought in both World Wars, I especially appreciate the sacrifice you have made for the people of Canada. Their courage and bravery is an important part of my families identity, and I hope you know that all service members are in our hearts during this time.
I wish you all the best in the future, and thank you again,
Grace
