I know a lot of you veterans are tired of hearing "thank you for your service" over and over again so i'll say something different. thank you for sacrificing everything so we could live in peace. Thanks for leaving your comfortable life so you can ensure a future for us, and for putting up with the idiots who don't know what you sacrificed so they could live comfortably (looking at the pro-war idiots who think military action is necessary) and we all hope you can live the life you finally deserve after all you went through.

Dear Veteran,
On this Remembrance Day, I want to express my full gratitude for your courage, sacrifice, and service to our country. Because of your dedication, Canadians can live in peace and freedom. Your bravery and commitment remind us of the true meaning of sacrifice and the importance of never forgetting those who have served. And those who have risked their lives for citoyens as you do everyday when you go to work. Your dedication to push through as people don’t agree with the way some things go about. I pray that God keeps you protected as you protect us. I will forever keep you in my heart and mind as you are the reason we are safe and free.
Thank you for everything you have done — and continue to do — for Canada. Today and always, we remember you.
With respect and appreciation,
Alyssa

Dear Veterans,
On this day, and every day, we honor you — the brave men and women who served our country with unwavering courage and dedication. Your sacrifices, both seen and unseen, have shaped the very fabric of Canada. You stood tall in the face of adversity, defending the values of freedom, peace, and democracy that we hold dear.
Your service has left an indelible mark on our nation. You faced unimaginable challenges, often far from home, and you did so with resilience and honor. Whether on the frontlines or supporting those who served, your commitment to the well-being of our country has paved the way for future generations to live in peace.
We recognize that the journey was not without hardship, and that the effects of your service are felt long after the battles have ended. We owe you a debt of gratitude that can never be fully repaid, but we can and will continue to honor your legacy.

I want to take a moment to acknowledge your service and the journey you've had. While we often hear the word "hero" thrown around when talking about veterans, I know that the reality of serving in war is far more complex. Not every moment is heroic, and the experiences you’ve lived through may not always feel like something that fits neatly into that word.
That said, I believe your time in service, the challenges you faced, and the decisions you made along the way have contributed to something important. You were part of something much bigger than yourself, and even in ways that may not be celebrated or widely recognized, your actions helped shape the world we live in today.
Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your commitment. It's not always easy to see it, but the good you've done doesn’t go unnoticed.

Dear Veteran,
May peace walk beside you, as steadfastly as you once walked for us. You carried courage where fear could have lived, and hope where darkness tried to grow. Because of you, generations have known safety, laughter, and the freedom to dream.
Your bravery is not forgotten — it echoes in our hearts, in the quiet of our ceremonies, and in every sunrise over a free land.
May you always feel the nation’s gratitude wrapped around you like a warm light — a reminder that what you gave still shines on.
With deep respect and endless thanks,
Nancy

Nancy
