Dear Canadian Forces member,
I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am for your service towards Canada and other parts of the world,because of you I don't have to ever worry about something bad happening even on my way to school. You do so much for us and our country it is amazing what you do for us, I think that putting your life in danger for all Canadians every day is so hard yet you just keep going, your like a military hero for Canada. I truly hope you have the best day ever and do your best work for our country, I will always believe in you.

Hello, I am 15 years old and in high school. I’m learning history this year and I find it really interesting to learn about all what happened in the past and how we learned from our mistakes. My favourite topic to learn about if WW1 or WW2. I have very much respect for all the veterans who joined the war. I still feel sorrow for all who died, and I am so proud and glad to be a Canadian because of you guys. Veterans helped Canada become Canada. Without you guys we would not have the things we have now like the right to vote and many more. So I just wanna say thank you for all your services. God Bless!

after learning about history i realized how much history effects us now and how much you really fought for. i’m writing to explain my thanks to you and to canada for everything you fought for. i’m here to pay my respects to the fallen soldiers and here to appreciate everything you’ve done. i cannot imagine fighting in battles and living in a trench away from my family for 4 years. the way you guys went out of your way to make a change for our country was beyond outstanding. i want to apologize for the things you had to go through even though it wasn’t my fault and i wasn’t alive yet, the things you guys had to see, had to live through was terrifying and must have been traumatic. the thought of “this could be my last day” must have been so scary and i’m so sorry for all you went thought and went through. i’m so happy for those who got to go home back to families and i pay my respects every november 11th to those who couldn’t get the chance to come home and those families who lost someone important to them. anyway i hope this message finds you well and thank you again.

i’m a grade 10 student and before i took history this year i thought that history was lame, but honestly after learning about how canada had such a big influence throughout the wars i think it’s really cool. i have also heard that canada has a very bad*ss military and i really love that you guys go out of your way to fight for our country. to devote your life to your country definitely seems pretty out-there for me because im a pacifist but i still understand that war may be necessary for our happiness as people and stuff so that’s great. i also hope you got to travel and see cool places because i love to travel, i hope none of your friends died because that would really be hard and stuff. have a good day!

Dear canadian veteran, thank you. 2 words with a very deep meaning. Thank you for being the reason qe feel safe, thank you for prorecting us, thank you for fighting the battles we cannot fight ourselves. Many people u derestumate what you have done, but u surely do not. Im proud to call canada my country and our armed forces, our armed forces.
