To those who take part of the Canadian Armed Forces, I hope this message finds you well. I would truly like to acknowledge and share gratitude towards those who sacrificed themselves into protecting our country. The amount of courage, sacrifices, bravery, and risks of putting your own life forward for the whole country will always be put in our own hearts because of this. I cannot thank everyone in the Canadian Armed Forces enough for protecting and serving our nation, and for serving the future generations as well. Please keep up the great work you have done and I hope everyone who reads this message will find you well. Cheers! - Ethan
To whom it may concern, Like many other letters you may have seen on this page, I will not sugarcoat this: serving in the military can be—and is—a deadly job title to hold. Not only due to the fact that you should always be ready to put your life on the line, but also because there will always be a worried family waiting for you back at home; scared for your future, and dreading the idea of your return never being fully guaranteed. As someone who has their aunt in the military currently, all I can say is this: from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for giving up your safety to assure ours. Thank you for applying yourself to a feared but needed role in society. And above all: thank you for loving a country so much that your life becomes secondary. Whoever you may be, know that there is someone back at home praying for a day to see your face again—whether you know it or not. Sincerely, a friend.
To the veterans, survivors, or those who have passed in the trenches of war, my heart goes out to you. War is an unnecessary battle that is fought by young men who haven't even turned 18, all because the people responsible do not wish to get their hands dirty. Every day, you risk your life in hopes to save another life, moreover, to serve your country. It's known that war is terrifying, it's a battle nobody wants to fight, and the nerves going into battle is unwavering, especially knowing you may not return home. For all the people who lost their life fighting for their country, experienced grave injuries, or are suffering of traumatic memories or PTSD, lest we forget your sacrifice, bloodshed, and tears that were forced upon you. We thank the Canadian military for al the service they've done for our country, moreover, us. We thank you for doing everything you can to save another life, or venturing into unknown land in hopes for another person to be able to see their family again. Even if lives were discarded like trash during the war, we will remember every life, soul, and courage, that were lost. Lest we forget, November 11th. ???

The dedication, the weight of pressure and the fear of fighting for one's country, can scare others. Yet, you and your comrades protect and provide aid to our country. Creating peace and carving a path for future generations to follow. Due to your help, love, spirit, and keeping us safe, led us into creating a safe environment for my family, friends and loved ones all over Canada. As thousands of people thank you and hope that you continue to strive for what is right, we all hope that the army always has faith every single day. God bless.
