Dear Canadian soldier, Thank you for your services for this country, it must be hard being away from your family at Christmas, But I’m not going to tell you about how sad it is or whatever, I’ll tell me about me to get your mind off of things. My name is Rowan; I am 12 years old (soon to be 13). I live in a small southern town in Ontario. I have a family; I am the youngest in my family (it sucks). I am in grade 8, going into high school (unfortunately). Well that pretty much clears that up. I hope that you have a very merry Christmas from wherever you are right now. A merry Christmas from, Rowan.

Dear Canadian military personnel, Hello I’m Phillip I’m in grade 8 and 12 years old. It’s probably really hard being away from your family. I can’t imagine. But you are doing something to help others, a selfless act so others can see their families. Just think how happy every one will be when you come home. Try and comfort other soldiers who can’t come home for Christmas either. You probably wish you could be home, but maybe try calling them if you can. Try to spend time with friends you made in the military. I hope you have a good Christmas. Sincerely Phillip
